The Bachman Group of the SC Chapter of the Sierra Club encompasses
fourteen counties in South Carolina. They are Aiken, Allendale,
Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Edgefield, Fairfield, Kershaw,
Lexington, McCormick, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland and Saluda.

Mission Statement: The Bachman Group is dedicated to upholding
the motto of the Sierra Club, which is "to explore, enjoy, and protect
the wild places of the Earth; to practice & promote the responsible
use of the Earth's ecosystems & resources; to educate and enlist
humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural & human
environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives."
